So you wrote the app? How can I get the latest copy? Is there a way to get details on functions ie API documentation on how they are used and what they do?
I’m getting the following error when trying to open whatever .fdb file in my fdb directory in Rom
System.ArgumentException: De Win32-koppeling die is doorgegeven aan Icon is ongeldig of heeft een onjuist type.
bij System.Drawing.Icon..ctor(IntPtr handle, Boolean takeOwnership)
bij System.Drawing.Icon.FromHandle(IntPtr handle)
bij FDB_Extractor.Extractor.GetFileDescription(String filename)
bij FDB_Extractor.Extractor.GenerateTree(String archiveName, Archive archive)
bij FDB_Extractor.Extractor.bgwArchiveLoader_RunWorkerCompleted(Object sender, RunWorkerCompletedEventArgs e)
@Talamare
Best program to view these would be with a hex editor. I’m making a editor for them but that might take a while since the format of each .db file is different.
I try to extract interface.fdb\interface\worldxml folder but the progress is interrupted with a file named achivementtitleframe.lua. This file size is just one byte, and I think that there is something wrong with this file, or maybe a program bug.
this is really awesome man thx a lot
but can you make some convertor cuz i for texture and models :-S
vuz i wanna convert them to mdx file
or if you know some way can you tell me
thx a lot again for this extractor
Go to your CMD, Type Allow_allfiles=1 , You wanna rebot your computer after it, if it does not work, You could try to Defrag the folder, and make sure, the files are where they are supposed to be.

I found an appication created by Seipheroth called fdbextract. It looks very much like yours here. This can be downloaded from http://filebeam.com/3d87b9917faed47b4fc06e6bc9bea202
I would like to see your version but I don’t see a link to download

That is a old version of the program which is also made by me. The link to download the program works now

@Crushzilla
I’ll be uploading a fix for that soon
November 9th, 2009 - 16:04
Is that fix already uploaded? As the version that’s for download atm still gives the same error.
November 9th, 2009 - 19:43
I’ve uploaded a updated version at http://www.terestria.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/FDB_Extractor1.rar, I haven’t been able to test it yet tho so I’m not a 100% sure if its fixed

It appears to extractt he DDS files just fine, however, when i try to open them in photoshop, i recieve an error:
“Photoshop could not complete your request because of a disk error”
The problem is, i have other DDS files from another source, that open in photoshop just fine.
I’ll note i’m using CS3, and have the latest DDS stuff from nVidia.
Any help would be most appreciated.
